My grand daughter was here for Thanksgiving this year, and we had turkey breast cooked in the NuWave. I followed the timing instructions and cooked the thawed breast for 1 and a half hours. It was so brown and so juicy! It was wonderful and we enjoyed every bite! The potatoes, too, were cooked in the NuWave, at the same time. I just put them in a little later. Everything was wonderful! Sometimes for lunch, I'll cut a Kaiser Roll in half, butter both halves, pile on some sliced roast beef and top it off with American cheese. I've used my NuWave every night since I got home and absolutely LOVE it!! I just received my NuWave oven for Christmas and already my poor little toaster oven that I used to use just about every night is sobbing in the corner because it feels neglected! I've used my NuWave every night since I got home from the family celebration and absolutely LOVE it!! I cannot say enough good things about it. The first night I had it, I did a pork roast and oven roasted red potatoes. It took just a little over an hour and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. Even the next night when I reheated the pork roast in the NuWave, it was just as juicy and tender as it had been the previous night freshly cooked. I've purchased a whole chicken to try in it, but haven't cooked that as of yet - I'm sure it will be great as well. My only regret is that I no longer live in Pennsylvania where I used to live and hunt, so I don't have any venison to try making venison jerky with it. I used to make it the long, drawn out way with a food dehydrater and was very excited when I read in the recipe book how quickly the NuWave makes beef jerky. I'll definitely be trying that recipe, even though it'll have to be out of beef instead of venison. I live by myself so previously used my toaster oven for pretty much everything - hated the idea of heating up the "big" oven to cook for one person. The NuWave far outdoes anything that I was able to cook in the toaster oven - and there's lots more room in it, so will be able to use it when I have company instead of having to waste the electricity on my "big" oven. I also love the fact that it has a timer/automatic shut off as I quite often try to multi-task and would occasionally "forget" about something I was cooking only to remember very abruptly when the smoke detector would go off or I would start to smell something burning. I have a feeling that whenever my mom and dad taste something I've cooked in my NuWave, they'll end up getting one for themselves (they're the ones that gave me mine for Christmas). TRUCKDRIVERS DREAM Cooking MACHINE! We have purchased 2 so far one is in the truck and one is at home! This is truly the best invention since slice bread! It is so easy and convenient. I ordered this on impulse then regretted it..... I ordered this on impulse then regretted it. However it was too late to cancel. I have to say WOW! One of the first things I cooked was pork steaks. You have to cook those forever in a low heat oven and your results are not guaranteed! 25 minutes one side and 25 the other. You could probably shorten the cooking time. They were perfect! NuWave saved Thanksgiving this year I just wanted to say that the NuWave is the greatest! My husband was skeptical about me ordering it at first, then it saved Thanksgiving this year. My brother’s turkey was full of Cajun spices and it was too spicy, so we needed something to serve to the family that did not. So with the extra turkey we had, we stuffed it with butter, fresh rosemary, fresh sage, fresh thyme, bacon and 1 clove of garlic in the skin of the turkey with 2 pears placed in the cavity. After 2.5 hours, our 13lbs turkey was cooked to perfection! It was so moist and delicious that there was almost none left! The turkey was the juiciest and best tasting turkey ever. After that, my husband uses it almost everyday to make something for the family - that makes it easier on me. We are going to order one for my sister for her birthday to use in her college dorm. When I got it I put it to the test, and it passed everything I have owned my Nu Wave for almost a year now. I am a single male at 55, I so enjoy cooking. Watch the oven on TV many times before I ordered it and when I got it I put it to the test, and it passed everything. I have had a few lady friends over for dinner and they were so shocked as to how well this oven worked and how fast it cooks. They all ask what the price is and were shocked how inexpensive they were. Most now own there own and cooking for me, life is good. Well yes, I do have to complain about one thing, sorry. The oven will cause you to use to many dishes at the table. Yes that is what I said, you see, when cooking a steak and you put it on your plate you have to have another dish for your baked potatoes, another for your veg's, because the steaks turn out so juicy that they will flood your main plate, and you thought it was going to be a bad thing. I have never wrote in before to any company about their product but I just had to I bought my NuWave Oven about a year ago & just wanted to take the time to say how much I don’t regret ordering this from the TV commercial. I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from the TV but most I end up sending it back cuz it didn’t live up to the hype. It’s so refreshing & surprising to get something that not only lived up to the hype but exceeded it. I loved it when I can look into the pan after cooking my food like the whole chicken I cooked the other day or 4 pieces of bacon & then look down on all that grease that is in the pan instead of on my plate. I like the fact that I can put my breakfast in there in the morning then go into the bathroom to get ready for work without worrying that it’s going to burn up then coming out & bingo my breakfast is ready, & just sit down to eat, no wasted time. I love pot pies but rarely cooked them before cuz they take too long about 1 hr in a regular oven plus heats up the whole house in the summer but now in my NuWave Oven it just takes like 15 mins. Wow! And my 10 yr old son now loves to cook his own bacon without me worrying about him getting burned by the grease. Just put it in, touch & go. Unbelievable. I love cooking my frozen Taquitos and Fries & they taste the same but without the grease. We actually use it more than our stove. It cooks without smoking up the house. I love it. P.S. I fixed a #14 lb turkey and it was juicy and tender all the way through I just bought my wife a NuWave and she was a little leery the turkey wouldn`t do right. We had surprise company come in and was going to deep fry the turkey. So I gave it to her early Xmas present and boy was she surprised. Every time I enjoy a meal we thank our friend In 2007, I received my NuWave from a friend who bought it from an infomercial then NEVER USED IT. I cooked on it a couple times, then invited him over for dinner and made boneless turkey breast and vegetables. He commented he had never eaten such a moist turkey roast and that I must have used a ton of butter. When I invited him to the kitchen to show him how it was done, he spied the NuWave and said, “what’s that?” I told him a friend had gifted me with this since he never had used it. We had a great laugh about it. (I think he wanted it back the 2nd time he had dinner with us and the meal was just as terrific!) He died not long afterwards from complications from a stroke and a fall. Every time I enjoy a meal we thank our friend again and again. Out of the box I made a 3 lb. beef roast, well done in about 30 minutes I was skeptical, specifically because I like my steaks and roasts well done but I hated the downside of that meaning it was going to be dry and need steak sauce and/or gravy. I love to broil my steaks but living in a small apartment with an electric oven and trying to broil a steak is comical, with smoke alarms going off. Out of the box I made a 3 lb. beef roast, well done in about 30 minutes. I let it rest for 10 minutes and to my delight my beautifully browned roast was well done and very flavorful AND JUICY. Make sure you watch the included DVD for tips! I love that my old oven is now a handy storage place for pots and pans, I won’t be using it anytime soon for cooking again. Love my NuWave Oven! I got my NuWave Oven as a Christmas gift on black Friday from Kohls. I could not wait to try it! Had it 2 weeks now cooked 2 pizzas, chicken wings, potato skins, chicken fingers, French Fries, 4 steaks, chicken breasts, corn bread, biscuits, hash browns, cookies, pork chops, frozen entrees like Salisbury steak, chicken Parmesan, etc. Love it love it love it! Even my wife is impressed by my renewed enthusiasm for cooking. My friends are tired of hearing me try to sell this thing knowing we have nothing to gain by it. I had recently purchased a steer hind quarter and got 150 lbs of meat that must be frozen and I had to get a deep freezer. That's a whole another fight story. NuWave Oven cooks deep frozen meats from 0 degrees F, not just 32 degree, no problem. Cooking chart is a accurate and adding more time can quickly over cook food especially vegetables. I've joined the Nuwave Army and I LOVE IT! Everyone of the fabulous compliments that folks before have written are true x 10! I am so stoked I am besides myself and have pretty much retired my gas stove forever. I did upgrade and get the black set for an extra $10 a payment and it was well worth it because it's a really cool piece of equipment to add to your kitchen. It was easy to take out of the box, set up and I starting using it immediately, experimenting with all kinds of frozen meats from my freezer and a frozen quiche. Everything cooked up quickly and beautifully and even though I don't look forward to another hot summer in San Diego, cooking a yummy meal in my Nuwave will be a no-brainer! But let me address something that I haven't seen the other folks address. I ordered my package about 4 or 5 days ago and it arrived this morning. From the minute I ordered it I began getting informational emails letting me know the status of when it would get here and all other kind of details...AMAZING!!! It arrived on my front porch today, very well packaged and safe and sound. I have ordered other things online via informercials and many times have been disappointed but not this time. Add to that the fact that you can break up the cost by paying in three easy monthly payments on your credit card and I want to cry I'm so happy. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that I can come home and have a fully cooked nutritious meal for my family in 20 minutes. ITS AMAZING!!! Of course chicken breast is a favorite with halved baked potatoes. But we also do a lot of fish fillets and boneless pork chops as well. I have taken it with me to functions, and I am constantly bragging about it to my friends. OMG - Wished I had this years ago!!! My oven broke over the summer and a family member who knew we were in need sent us the Nu Wave as a gift….and BAM! I was HOOKED!!! Now I have a new traditional electric oven and hardly use it! Also, you really don’t know how the Nu Wave oven is affecting family dynamics! Now I don’t feel so drained at the end of preparing a meal!!!! The Nu Wave cuts cooking down at least 35-50% each time. Before I got my NuWave, I had to spend the whole time in the kitchen actually “cooking” the food, which meant I was missing that time with my family. Hands down, this is the best cooking appliance I have EVER purchased! I have never given my “testimonial” to something like this before, but I really believe in this product. I used to dread those days when I would come home from a long day at work to find that I’d forgotten to take something out of the freezer for dinner. That meant I’d end up buying a take-out meal (that I really couldn't afford), which could cost up to $50.00 for my family of five! With the NuWave Oven, I simply go to the freezer, pick whatever looks good, toss it in the oven and set the timer for half of the cooking time necessary. I can then sit with my husband and kids and enjoy some quality family time. When the buzzer goes off, I go to the kitchen, add my vegetables, potatoes, or other side dish to the NuWave, set the timer for the balance of the cooking time and go back to my family again. It’s really that simple! Before I got my NuWave, I had to spend the whole time in the kitchen actually “cooking” the food, which meant I was missing that time with my family. Now, I can spend some much needed ‘down time” with my family when I get home from work, reconnecting after a long day, instead of just walking in from the “day job” and going straight to the “night job”. The NuWave Oven has drastically slashed the amount of time I need to be in the kitchen preparing meals, which means I’m where I should be: having fun with my family! And the savings has been tremendous!! Do the math: Feeding a family of five a take-out meal once or twice a week can easily cost between $50.00 and $100.00 a week. I mean, the average fast food meal costs between $6.00 and $7.00 per person! Multiply that by one or two times a week, eight or ten times a month, and you could be spending over $300.00 of your hard-earned money on junk food, just because you forgot to take some meat out of the freezer!!! Now that I’m able to come home and find something to cook “on the fly”, I don’t waste my money on last minute take-out food anymore, which means I’m putting that money back into my budget for more important things. I love my NuWave Oven so much, I tell everyone who will listen about how it has improved my quality of life. As a matter of fact, I’m buying several of them as Christmas gifts for family and friends this year. They’ve heard me talk about it so much, they can’t wait to get their own! And don’t think you can only “bake” foods in this thing. My husband likes pork shank, which is best prepared on a barbecue grill. It should be tender on the inside with a crisp skin on the outside. I simply marinate the shank overnight in liquid Mojo seasoning, throw it in my NuWave Oven, and the pork comes out tender and delicious every time, with a crispy, well-cooked outside, just as if it were cooked on a spit! THIS IS A BACHELOR'S DREAM I bought a Ron Popiel's Showtime Rotisserie about 10 years ago, and it worked fine. Then it went on the blink and that is when I bought this NuWave Oven. I am a bachelor and 66 years old after 21 years retired from the USMC. I cook everything in this oven. It is about 3 years old and still is in great condition. I pick up a whole cooked chicken from the supermarket at $4.99 and put it in my NuWave Oven and make it crispy. I love crispy skin on a chicken or a turkey. This way a lot of fat comes out of the chicken besides what fat came out of it at the store where they cooked it. Raw chickens come out great too with your own seasoning on it. If you are thinking about cooking a turkey in it, make sure that you buy the extender ring for the oven. It gives the oven more height. Sausages and Hot dogs grilled in the oven, come out excellent. I found an easy way to clean it. Take the drip pan while it is hot (please be careful, because it is hot) and put it in the sink and take the grate and put it in the drip pan. Then add a little soap and fill the drip pan with water. Let stand for a couple of hours and then clean with a green pad. Everything will come right off the grate with ease. I wish that I had bought my oven now because I would have received the pizza kit and the two Twister blenders. I had bought the Twister blender a long time ago from the company and I found out that if you want the containers to last. I am pretty sure there is no, on and off switch on the blender. So make sure the Motor is completely stopped before taking the container off of the lower unit. This way , it will not tear up the plastic gear on the container, making the container useless. I have made 4 fantastic meals and a dessert in the two weeks that we have owned it! I am a gadget junkie. I have bought things off TV and have waited until I have seen them in the stores. I bought my NuWave at Kohl's as I had a huge coupon plus they were running their Kohl's Cash promotion so I got $10 bonus just for buying it. My hubby rolled his eyes when he saw it. I have made 4 fantastic meals and a dessert in the two weeks that we have owned it! I do a lot of baking so I use my regular oven for that but we will be empty nesters soon and this will be perfect for just the two of us. I have to say it didn't disappoint like many other 'time saving' gadgets I have bought. Thank you for a product that actually does what it says. The only suggestion I would make is that on the infomercials, you should show that foods need to be turned over. I never thought it was possible to go from frozen to table in 2.5 hours for a 10 pound turkey! I was shopping at Kohls last week with my friend who happens to be the Assistant Buyer of Electrics for Kohls. He was raving about the NuWave Oven. I know he gets excited about the products the store carries, but I also know he would never steer me wrong. I must admit however, that I was quite skeptical. The first thing I did was buy a frozen turkey on my way home with the oven freshly purchased and still in the car! I never thought it was possible to go from frozen to table in 2.5 hours for a 10 pound turkey! I figured I would be returning to the store the next day to make a return. When I got home, I unpacked the oven, put the turkey in, pressed the button and walked away. I turned it over half way through, and in the 2.5 hours as promised in the directions, I was eating a delicious, juicy turkey with skin that was perfectly browned and crispy!!!! I couldn’t believe it. I have told everyone about this amazing product. I can’t say enough about it. I will NOT be returning it, and have no immediate plans to use my regular oven, anytime soon! The food was very good tasting and it doesn’t heat up my apartment I purchased the Nuwave Oven through Carol Wright Gift catalogue and was not given the option of getting the carrying case or the pizza kit and the extender ring and would love to purchase all of those items for my oven. I have used it to cook a chicken and look forward to using it many more times. The food was very good tasting and it doesn’t heat up my small apartment while cooking. FINALLY FOUND A WINNER! FINALLY FOUND A WINNER! The same day my NuWave Oven arrived, I cooked a 2 lb. Pork Roast. Soon the aroma filled my kitchen. I kept going back and forth to watch how nicely the roast was browning. When the cooking time was up, I let the pork roast rest for a few minutes. I could hardly retain my mouth from watering. When I sliced into the roast, the juices just poured out. I tasted a piece and OH MY GOD! It was so good. The meat just melted in my mouth. I proceeded to slice several more pieces and soon had to stop myself before consuming the entire roast. The NuWave Oven is all I’ll ever use for cooking. NuWave Oven, hands down, is a must in every kitchen in America, no make that every kitchen in the world!! WOW……what can I say? We were at the Casino here in Washington state and had $250 dollars to blow on gambling but decided to retire to our rooms as the Casino was too smokey and we are newly non smokers, recently quit and trying to get healthier in life. We saw your infomercial and decided to give it a try since we still had our money to spend. We received our NuWave oven last night and I made our 1st meal with it. I am by no means a chef and can hardly boil water, but I made Country Style Pork Boneless Ribs on the 4 inch rack and put some potatoes, zucchini and onions on the lower. I have to admit I was excited and a bit skeptical as most infomercial items don’t seem to work as described. It truly is a one finger, 3 step process!! I cooked it for the 1st 20 mins, as the pork was frozen, and turned them and cooked another 20 mins. Maggie, my wife, noticed how wonderful the house smelled as the food was cooking. To say the least, the meal was AWESOME!! The meat was a perfect golden brown, a slight crisp on the outside and juicy, and I mean juicy, on the inside. The potatoes were slightly crisp on the outside, but the zucchini was overcooked. I now know, you can use pause on the machine and add the softer vegetables later in the cooking process to allow the potatoes to soften and cook without over cooking softer vegetables. I am 100%, no make that 200% satisfied. I even used the oven after dinner to make a round of cookies from frozen and they were crispy and brown on the outside and tender and soft in the middle!!!!! When I mean I am 200% satisfied with something, that means I have no problem endorsing the product to all my friends and co-workers. The fact the oven uses less energy will help us recover the cost and my time is money too, I was completely clean and watching TV in about 5 mins after dinner and dessert was over, the non stick pans are the way to go!!! I decided to hand wash the machine instead of using our dishwasher. I held off doing the dishes till after Monday Night Football, and the funny part is, it took me about 10 mins to wash our dishes, glasses etc. In other words, there is no lying, clean up is a snap either by dishwasher or by hand!! Once again, my time is money as well….and the clean up alone makes the NuWave worth the purchase!! The best part of the whole experience is….as I said before, I am no chef but when my wife looked at me and said “Honey this is the best rib dinner I have ever had!”, that feeling for some reason meant a lot to me. I used to be a mechanic by trade and can fix any car but have never been able to help in the kitchen. I can now say, I can cook, I may not be flashy, I may not have attended a school of culinary arts…but according to my wife….I can cook and that is a good feeling. I cannot wait to make the whole chicken tonight when I get off work! My wife is probably going to get mad at me because I have seemed to have found a joy in cooking and I can see we are going to have to arm wrestle or trade off nights to make dinner!! I look forward to many, many more meals and eating healthy and I plan to tell everyone I know…..NuWave Oven, hands down, is a must in every kitchen in America, no make that every kitchen in the world!! I don’t know how I did without it all these years I love being able to take it straight from the Freezer to the oven. I usually let it cook about have the time, then I open it up and put all my spices on it. I also baste it with BBQ sauce or Garlic Butter. It cooks in half the time of other ovens. It is always moist. I find it fun to cook as I am the cook in the family. I have never had any training what so ever at a cooking school. But I learned on my own. I don’t know how I did without it all these years. I purchase the black one with the rack. My wife just loves it and I am going to purchase another one for my mother (76 years old) for Christmas. I can’t wait to fix the Thanksgiving Dinner in it at our Daughters house in NC. As a retired military person (SFC US Army/Marine Corps Retired) I traveled the world. The sweet potatoes tasted as if they were cooked on open fire, just like we used to do back home I bought my NuWave Oven 2 weeks ago, and I too cannot stop cooking, at least something, on this machine. I'm a P.E. Teacher, Spinning Instructor and also a weekend warrior in the Navy. The way I eat and what I eat is extremely important to me. My only problem was finding time to cook without burning something or forgetting I had something on the stove. I'm at ease now because I set the timer and I go about doing other tasks while my food is cooking. The first thing I tried was sweet potatoes and from there on I was in love with my NuWave Oven. HEALTHY COOKING EQUATES TO LONGER LIVING I purchased my oven about 3 weeks ago, and from that day forward I have been using it. The foods are cooked to near perfection, and taste delicious. My family and friends have been quit pleased with the NuWave Oven Pro, and just by tasting food cooked from it, they are vowing to purchase one for themselves. This oven should be mandatory, and displayed with video playing in doctors offices and other health and wellness agencies urging their patients to buy one for the family. Food is eaten by all humans, and the more healthier, leaner (less fat), and good tasting their food is, drives them to do anything to have that good taste over and over daily. Recently I found myself practically holding seminars about the use, and care of the NuWave Oven Pro, some may see this to be insane, but to me this shows how much I believe in this product. Once you get to an age where you need to watch what you eat, this is the product to buy for your health and wellness. I had a scare that happened about 1 week after I received my oven, the enclosure ring cracked on both sides and started chipping around the rim, which gave me pause. When I reported it to customer service they told me to just "keep the one I have, and another one will be sent out that day". I was thrilled to get the replaced part so quickly, and I appreciated their expediency. So, this is my testimonial confirming that I am a NuWave Oven Pro owner that loves his food cooked to perfection every time without fail, frozen or not. As a side note, I would like to recommend that you create some type of referral program for all NuWave Oven Pro owners, by issuing them their own personal Referral Code that can be given to the family and friends, to be used for product purchases, and a credit will then be issued to the account of the owner who issued their referral code, which can be applied to future purchases or a certain monetary amount can be sent to the referral code owner, because at this time I must have about 5 people that want to buy the oven but there is no motivation for me to encourage them to buy without any capital gains on my end. I cannot remember when I have had a more juicy, tasty, tender steak. Neither can my son. I had to add to my first email to you. I was a bit skeptical that I could cook two 1.5 lb. steaks 1" thick in the NuWave Oven and have them turn out well. It took about 6 minutes on one side, 3 minutes on the other. The Steak was medium rare. I cannot remember when (I am 52 years of age) I have had a more juicy, tasty, tender steak. Neither can my son, who ate the other steak. I am on oxygen 24/7. Having my oxygen hose near a conventional oven is unsafe at best, and my husband would have to place and retrieve all baked goods prior to the NuWave Oven. It has since made me feel less dependent in the kitchen and gives my husband free time elsewhere since I don't need him waiting around to take something out of the oven. Thank you so much for this invention. During your promotion, why not interject the idea that the oven is perfect for a young, single person living on their own. It saves on utilities and cookware. I wish more American companies built such fine equipment and backed it like you do Before my father passed away at 90 years old, he gave me his NuWave Oven. It has been really a great machine! It cooks meat tender, and moist. Everything tastes great! The gas grill broke, and cannot be fixed. I am trying it on Steak tonight. I bought my NuWave Oven at least 5 years ago... I bought my NuWave Oven must have been at least 5 years ago, and I use it almost everyday. I now need a replacement dome, but I have had my moneys worth time and time again. I have decided that if I cannot replace the dome I will buy a complete new unit. Money well spent - This is the first time I've ever been impressed enough to say anything positive about about any product I bought a Nu-Wave 3months ago and fully intended to return it within the 90 day period if it didn't measure up to your outrageous claims. I cannot allow two oven names to fool other people who watch infomercial on TV We have first original infrared oven called Flavor Wave Oven back in 1990's. As I watched both infomercials on TV of Flavor Wave Oven and NuWave Oven made me confused with our original one we are using. As I studied the two different ovens on their website, I realized that our original Flavor Wave Oven was labeled "Hearthware Home Products". NuWave Oven is patented and manufactured under Hearthware Home products which is same oven as mine. I cannot allow two oven names to fool other people who watch infomercial on TV. Because the design of NuWave Oven looks familiar with our Flavor Wave Oven, so they are by the same manufacturer. New Flavor Wave Oven is not of the same design as NuWave Oven. I live in the desert so I love that it doesn't heat up the house I purchased a NuWave Oven about 3 months ago and absolutely love it! I use it almost every day. I work nights, so I use it to cook my dinner while I'm getting ready and it's done in time for me to go to work. I've used it for whole chickens, roasts, pizzas, quesadilla's and am still amazed at how quickly it works. Looks like this is a real cooking machine! I just got my Nu Wave Oven today. I cannot wait to use it after reading all the wonderful reviews! I cook for myself but can see cooking enough for several meals at a time. I think I will enjoy cooking bacon because I hate to fry bacon and have grease splatter all over my cook top. I also love steak but hate to pan fry it. With the Nu Wave, I can put it in the oven and eat a wonderful steak in a short time. I did not know that it was also a dehydrator, as well. After receiving the oven, I cooked steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, pork loins, vegetables, french fries, etc. I cooked things just to prove the NuWave Oven had a fault. I was totally wrong. Everything I cooked came out delicious..I was amazed!!! I now know I made a big mistake and want others not to make the same one I did. If you are thinking about a NuWave Oven buy it new from NuWave. The deal offered with the blenders, pizza kit, tote bag, etc. is far a better offer than I received and if I knew then what I know now I would have ordered mine from NuWave. It was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life! This product is a breakthrough in cooking technology and I love its simplicity and how fast it is at cooking a wide variety of foods with less fat and oils. It is totally amazing... I ordered from Hearthware Home Products on October 2nd online and received my Nuwave Oven by October 13th. At first I was skeptical to try out this revolutionary new product, but I`m telling anybody honestly and flat out this product really does work! =) I cooked a 2 pound sirloin steak for my girlfriend and I from completely frozen to fully cooked in 34 minutes the very first night I received it. There was no preheat or any thawing of the product whatsoever. I was completely blown away by how fast this product cooked a completely frozen piece of meat. The flavors were absolutely amazing right when I took my first bite. The steak had a nice crisp on the outside, and when I cut into it the flavor was mouthwatering, moist, and delicious. It was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life! Having worked in food service for many years, I would absolutely love to have one of these ovens in my place of business because it would save a lot of time... NOT ONCE HAS THE OVEN TURNED OUT ANYTHING THAN A WONDERFULLY COOKED MEAL! I just really love this oven - having bought it several years ago. My new house is small and so I can pack it in its carrying case after using it. I presently live alone and so I seem to have steady source of close to expired foods winding up in my freezer. The thing I like the most about this oven is its ability to take a frozen brick of food and turn it into something absolutely marvelous - just experimented with a brick of frozen steak tips that just amazed me. For clean-up, I allow the drip pan and grate to soak in hot soapy water after using it and that makes it very easy to clean by hand. This oven along with the special offer makes it an item you are sure to use over and over again. Oh - they aren't kidding when they talk about the fat drippings that come out of the food. I love to make my sausages in this oven and the fat that drips out is just incredible (your food doesn't sit in it) and the sausages have this crispy coating yet inside the meat is so moist. I have experimented with different heat and cook times with the digital controls as I love to experiment with defrosting and cooking and I have to tell you - NOT ONCE HAS THE OVEN TURNED OUT ANYTHING THAN A WONDERFULLY COOKED MEAL! I Lost my home when IKE the hurricane hit Galveston... I Lost my home when IKE the hurricane hit Galveston 10/12/08 and moved into a Winnebago motor home with a propane stove. I purchased a NuWave and now I don't have to cook on the stove and use all that gas. The food is great. The Nuwave Oven makes the BEST...GRIDDLE CHEESE SANDWICHES I EVER MADE 2 slices of white bread or any kind of bread 2 tablespoons of melted butter or oleo 2 or 3 slices of American yellow cheese (or any cheese you like) open the cheese and place it between the slices of bread and then take a pastry brush and brush the top with about one tablespoon of the butter... Place the sandwhich on the 4" rack and replace the cover...temperature at regular setting and I set the timer for 2 minutes on HIGH and watch it...if it is not brown to your liking reset the time for an additional (1) minute until your desired doness. when you get there remove the cover and with a spatula turn over the sandwhich and then brush the remaining tablespoon of butter over the other slice of bread, replace cover and set timer for 2 minutes and watch it as in the first slice, sometimes it browns faster then it did on the first side. That's it...it turns out amazing and the cheese does not seep out and stick to the pan as it would on a frying pan...and if desired can be made with out any butter ... I also used it to make toast when my toaster broke... I find the bacon made as the instructions seem to leave it a bit soggy so i leave it in a bit longer and turn it over and cook it again (other side) for a crispy strip... But the Sausages...OMG are to die for made in the Nuwave Oven...it reminds me of the sausages you get out in the diners...juicy and tasty...the recipe provided is just perfect to produce succulent results. Salmon is to die for made in the NuWave Oven, but the soysauced based recipes, Terriacki is not that good, it tends to be over powering. What I like is a Extra Virgin Olive Oil and dill marinade. I use small metal broiling dishes (restraunts served food in) but any small pan, aluminum pie plate will work just as good. 2 pieces of salmon fillets 4 Tablespoons EVOO about 2 or 3 tablespoons of fresh or 1 or 2 tablespoons dried sea salt and pepper Mix the dill into the oil, set aside... rinse the fillets in water pat dry...lay in pie plate skin side up, brush with the oil and dill mixture and sprinkle with sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Sit on the 4" rack and cover cook as directed for fish fillets...I leave it in for a few extra minutes til it browns slightly, remove cover and gently turn over the fillets, brush with the oil and dill mixture again and re place cover and set for the same time you cooked on the other side. If served in the metal chaffing dish (broiler dish) sit on a plate and squeeze fresh lemon over and place several pices of lemon around. Serve with Wild grain rice, and the aspragus and garlc cooked in the NuWave Oven or...grill in the broiler...or any veggie you prefer... There are so many other recipes perfect for the NuWave Oven...I also made pot Roast began and "fried" all the sides in the NuWave Oven and then replaced it in a stew pot and cooked the rest on the stove....I found placing olive oil on the bottom of a stew pot and browning in the NuWave caused less smoke in the kitchen and less splatter...it cooked and browned the frozen piece of meat perfectly...and was a step that always takes the longest...but was worth it done the NuWave ...way... There wasn't any food that I cooked that was not an improvement over cooking it in the conventional oven. Just wanted to let you know that I love the Nu Wave Oven. I find that any of the food taste fluffier - baked potatoes, the fish is moist and flaky, the meat is tender and juicer. The cakes were very moist and the sweet potatoes were great. I made some top crust pumpkin pies and also puddings and they were delicious. There wasn't any food that I cooked that was not an improvement over cooking it in the conventional oven. Any food that has to be cooked higher than 350 has to cook longer depending upon what food is being cooked. As your directions point out - a lower crust does not cook, a thick meat loaf will not cook thoroughly. I made meat balls instead of a loaf and the meat cooked faster and juicier as was expected. I do like it since it does not heat the kitchen during the summer months - and its fun to watch it cook certain food. Do have to crimp the foil for the top rack- it will float - as the directions pointed out. I like cooking 2 different foods on the lower and the higher rack - goes much faster and saves energy. I have been an advertisement for your product, and I see it is available at Kohl's, Boscov's etc. I enjoy it very much - as my husband has also. Thank you for the opportunity to try something that actually works I received my NuWave Oven before Christmas of 2008. I have used it at least once a week, usually more often since then. This summer has been very hot so I have been cooking with it in the evening. I also am on a low-carb diet so this oven helps out immensely. Thank you for a wonderful product that really works I bought my Nu-Wave at a local department store. I brag on it every where I go, and more so at my weekly card playing. So------ last week on the 9th, several of the ladies were talking about it. I offered to bring mine the following week and we would cook a turkey breast for lunch. The party was on. Each person began to say what they would bring for the lunch. Then I decided since I had not cooked the turkey breast before in this oven, I would get two of them and cook one on Saturday so I would know what to do. Oh my, it came out good and moist , I'm thinking I could have eaten the entire turkey myself. But as I pondered the situation I decided I would have to order an oven for my sister (she was having a birthday the next week.) I went right to my computer and placed that order with no trouble , and best thing was they told me it would be delivered in three days. Her delivery date was the same date we were cooking a turkey for card players. Even the husband of the hostess got in the act and just about took over, which was all the more better.They were truly amazed that that turkey was brown and ready to eat just when we finished our card game. Everyone made the comment how moist the turkey was. There were 9 of us for lunch and if not already you will be getting orders from several of them for their very own oven. Oh by the way, just as I sat down to eat my lunch I thought it was about time for my sister to be receiving hers, and I called to ask what she was doing. "I am opening a large box from you, what is this thing. I briefly told her, (after all my lunch was getting cold) When I called her back middle of the afternoon she was working on her menu for the following week and using the recipes that came with her oven. My sister is the owner of two Nu Wave Ovens and let me tell you.... My sister, JoAnne, can be a spokesman for the Nu Wave Oven. Since she has purchased and been using this oven she has done nothing but promote this product for it's convenience, taste and versatility to anyone who will listen. After arriving for our visit, I was able to see first hand how this product cooks. I was amazed of how it cooked perfectly from a frozen state. The food tasted great and was moist, not dried out from being over cooked. In fact she has two Nu Wave Ovens. One in white, and one in black. Several of her friends have gone out and purchased this oven after seeing her demonstration and tasting the food she cooks. Unfortunately, at this time, due to the economy, I am not able to run out and purchase one for myself, but as soon as things start looking up, I do intend to purchase the Nu Wave Oven for my family. My sister has such an excitement for this product that I too would like to share in that excitement. My sister is a very generous person, but no such luck that she would share her second one with me. I have had the NuWave for about three hours now... I have had the NuWave for about three hours now. My son put a chicken in it, and we started to watch the DVD. The chicken was done before we were, so we cooked more bacon, hot dogs, and pizza. That is fast. We would have still been cooking the 5lb.in the time it took to cook all of that. I can tell you this even now it has been just hours - Don't buy this without the pizza kit and the extender ring kit. I can see how much I could use it, and my son loves the pizza things. DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THIS OVEN.....! I am a single dad with two kids.... I have had my NuWave for over 2 years now.....I use the NuWave Oven EVERY DAY!... on the weekends I use it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner....! I've even taken it camping instead of dealing with BBQ charcoal or gas! ----------------- My kids and I do not get home until 6:00 pm on the weekdays..... In five minutes... I can cut open a bag of salad.....throw a frozen chicken in the nuwave - throw in some redskin potatoes around it... set it for 30 min.... change out of work clothes....work with kids on their homework... beep! turn over chicken - toss the potatoes in the drippings (2 min)... set for 30 minutes... work with kids on their homework, play a game or just chill out..... then beep! by 7:00 pm.............the best chicken you have ever tasted..... and little to no clean up! However, most nights, we can be eating by 6:30 pm........ steak and fries!... the next night... leg of lamb with carrots and onions.... the next night... the best fish... the next night - pork chops......and all straight from the FREEZER! I have not used my regular oven for dinner in 2 years! I have cooked: pork chops, pork loin roasts, whole turkeys, duck, goose, all varied cuts of beef roasts, corned beef, steaks, all kinds of fish, seafood, lobster, shrimp, scallops, all frozen prepared foods..... nachos, reheat any and all fried foods... the list goes on and on and on..... typically no longer than 30 minutes.... The coolest thing is that both my kids and I actually dread the times that we are in a sitatuion to grab some 'fast food'.... I find that I have more 'work' to do cleaning up at the fast food place than actually making a 'better than great' meal at home.... the kids get tired of the lack of variety at the fast food places... there are only so many chicken nuggets, hamburgers, tacos, and fries that you can eat.... one time my youngest daughter actually grabbed the toy out of the kids meal and then asked me if we could go home and eat now.... DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THIS OVEN.....! while the writing on the base tray has rubbed off and the unit looks worn for use... it still works like a PRO! I had to replace the plastic dome only once,... the original cracked ... but I was able to get a replacement part very reasonably from the website.... with great customer service! I wish I had seen the advertisement for this oven or known about it sooner I just received my NuWave Oven on the Fed-Ex truck and could not wait to use it. My wife seasoned and cooked a half slab of pork ribs before I could even finish reading the owner's manual. It was so fast! Less than 30 minutes and they were ready - all juicy and could cut them with a fork. They were the best ribs we have at,e so I do not think I will ever use my smoker again. This was easier to use, the meat was more tender and juicy, and the oven was so easy to clean. Comparing to cooking outside, with this oven I can enjoy cooking my meats in the comfort of air conditioning. Comparing to cooking inside the house, this oven uses much less electricity than our electric range and does not heat up the kitchen. I wish I had seen the advertisement for this oven or known about it sooner. It is nice to know that I will be eating less fat because I need to eat more healthy and lose weight. There is nothing like the convenience, efficiency, and love affair I have with this oven. I would just like to add that this is the most marvelous oven ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband is the one who encourage me to get this as he knew how much I loved cooking. Paco (my parrot) loves the baked potato from NuWave. I honestly don't know what to say. Parrots have very sensitive tongues and would not go near anything hot. Paco (my parrot) tore up my easy cooking guide; however he would never go near my NuWave whether it was on or not. My cats or even my dog would not go near it. Meaning the cats would not jump up on the counter where the oven is. Their noses tell them if it's hot. I love my oven; it makes the best baked potatoes in the world. When I put a piece of potatoes in Paco's feeding dish, he studies it before eating. He senses the heat from it and will not put his mouth on it. Once it's safe, it's gone in a flash. He eats everything we eat; has his likes and dislikes of "human food." Naturally, he has his parrot food dish with a dash of calcium. Can't live without seeds! This is about all I can say about Paco. Well, it's been over five years and NuWave is still our little work horse. One of your commercials just came on, and it inspired me to write and say THANK YOU!. Five years ago our oven went out (on Thanksgiving Day...argh) we decided to get a Nuwave Oven to "fill-in" until we could afford to get our oven either fixed or replaced. Well it's been over five years and we did get the oven fixed, but we use it about six times a year. The NuWave is our little work horse. We use it for everything. No more soggy microwaved leftovers, no more waiting hours for things to thaw, no more desiccated fish and poultry, our Nuwave does all of those things better than the microwave and more efficiently than the oven. We especially love it this time of year, when the weather gets warm and you don't want to add any more heat than neccessary to the house. The Nuwave is WONDERFUL, because it doesn't radiate nearly as much heat as our oven and it cooks faster too, so the kitchen doesn't get unbearable. I am the TOTAL NuWave fan. Thanks. I have been married for 26 years, and my husband hated roasted chicken... I am called the "Queen of Gadgets" by my family. I think I have bought them all over the years. Some have come and gone and some have stayed. In the past month that I have had my NuWave oven, nothing can describe how awesome this product really is! I have been married for 26 years, and my husband hated roasted chicken - hated the crispy outer skin, the flavor, everything. Since using the NuWave to make roasted chicken, I can't keep up! He requests it just about every night! Just for variety, I did a flattened chicken and now, I am being treated appropriately as the queen in his eyes. Our eating out has gone down from 5 nights a week to maybe 1. We both feel I can make something better and quicker in the NuWave Oven than ordering out! I have not turned on the oven in a month. Today, I baked the best brownies I've ever tasted. They were so moist inside and with a thin crust on top, just out of this world. I baked a chicken. I baked a chicken in it. My husband raved about it... I purchased a black NuWave Oven at the end of June. I wasn't impressed with the first roast that I cooked in it, but have since decided that the meat was just tough. Subsequently I baked a chicken in it. My husband raved about it...really moist and flavorful. Just this week, I made him some beef jerky in it. He shared some of it with his sister, who's husband LOVED it. Now she wants a NuWave Oven. I am deeply impressed with this product and it does take a lot to impress me I have been in the United States Army for 14 years now and was skeptical to order. I received my NuWave Oven about 4 weeks ago and just regret not ordering it sooner. I ordered the black version with the extender ring kit and have been using it at a minimum once a day, most days 2 times a day. It is truly everything the infomercial and website claims. I love the fact that when I have to pull 12-15 hour days in the Army, I can just take a frozen salmon steak out of the freezer, pop it in the NuWave and forget about it until the timer goes off. I decided to order it because I am being stationed in Georgia for less than 3 months before getting deployed again, so I needed something that I could cook in in a barracks environment because I won't be taking my family this time. This is so compact and easy to clean; it's perfect for any barracks or college dormitory. I was a pastry chef before I joined the Army and as a prior pastry chef and senior Non Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, I highly, highly recommend this product. Now I will never go anywhere without mine and eat more at home I saw the informercial on TV and ordered the NuWave Oven. When it came, it sat in the box for a day until a friend came over and told me his son has one and never goes anywhere without it. I, then, went to the store and brought a fresh salmon fillet and used one of the recipes to cook it. I am not a cook, but the food came out great just as the informercial said. This is one cooking utensil that will forever be on my counter I love my NuWave oven. Steaks come out perfect every time and not charred like under the broiler. Ribs are fall off the bone delicious by cooking about an hour at cooking level 5. I can cook the bones of a cut-apart chicken for that last bit of meat for a salad. Cobblers can be made with fresh or frozen fruit and topped with cookie dough for a tasty dessert. This is the newest and easiest way to cook I have ever found (my microwave now only heats up leftovers). I also have saved money by not using the full stove and air conditioner costs are lessened. I’m eating healthier also. 6 of my friends and their families have also added a NuWave cooker to their houses after seeing mine and what it can do. No one has regretted getting a NuWave oven. I cooked a 15 LB Turkey from frozen and it was the juiciest most tasteful turkey I have made in all the years I have been cooking I wanted to let you know that I love my Nuwave oven and I brag to everyone that will listen about how great it is. I was even telling people at our local kitchen outlet store how great it works because they had the video playing next to the display of Nuwave Ovens. I can’t imagine cooking without it I have had my NuWave Oven for about 2 months now, and I can’t imagine cooking without it. My house is totally electric (including the stove). The electric bill was huge!! Since using primarily the NuWave Oven as my main cooking source, my electric bill has dropped immensely. On top of that, my family loves the ease of cooking in the NuWave and the flavor of the food cooked in it cannot be beat. You would have thought we cooked all day. The feature I personally like 2nd only to the lower electric bill is being able to come home and then decide what you want to fix and taking something out of the freezer and having a complete meal usually in less than an hour. This I believe is the first time I have ever ordered an product from the Television and been 100 percent happy with my purchase. I even had a crack develop soon after getting the oven and it was a matter of a few days when I received a replacement and it did not cost me a dime. This oven is everything I could ask for Being a born tightwad, I postponed on the purchase of the NuWave oven. I finally decided to purchase it. This oven is everything I could ask for. The food comes out perfect and cleanup is a breeze. After having it for a week I ordered two more to keep my sons happy. For anyone who works (I don't) or lives alone (I do) this is the perfect answer. It will cook for a family or for one without mess and without heating up the kitchen. I have to say my favorite thing is the independence it gave my 19 yr old blind son This is a great product. I have to say all representation is 100% true. Unlike other “as seen on TV” items people have issue with, the quality of this item is unsurpassed. I could go on just like the infomercial, however I have to say my favorite thing is the independence it gave my 19 yr old blind son. He loved to cook and did a great job mostly semi-supervised (he has been a big fan of Rachel Ray) but as you can imagine the physical hazards of an oven and clean up issues that we experienced. The NuWave oven eliminated all of that and now when he says he wants to cook dinner I say “Go For it”!!! It brings me close to tears to see him functional in an otherwise awkward atmosphere. Imagine what it can do for those of us fortunate enough to have all of our faculties. I thought it was just another item that would end up in the next yard sale I would like to say I was a skeptic from the start. My dad saw the Nuwave on TV and for 2 years had been telling me over the phone how much he loved this product and wanted one for himself. I thought it was just another item that would end up in the next yard sale. My dad is disabled now and he just moved down to Louisianna with me from Indiana. He showed me the commercial on TV and I decided to buy one for him for Father's Day. I was still however VERY skeptic that it could do what they said it could. We got the oven on a Thursday and have cooked on it every day for a week now. Everything from Eggs,ham and cheese sandwiches, new york steaks, and even desserts. I am now planning my grocery trip to buy more food that we can cook in our Nuwave oven. We love the flavor, and I love the quickness of cooking food. I work all day long and sometimes get home after 6pm. Up until buying this oven I would bring home fast food since there was no time to cook at that point. Now I still come home at 6pm and we are sitting down eating by 6:30pm. Thank you for such a wonderful product. I am now going to try to get my dad and I on a more healthy eating program since we wont be eating fast food 3 nights a week. I had my Nu wave for about 10 months and lost 30 Lbs. I had my Nu wave for about 10 months. I am retired, have hypertension and mild diabetes. Since using my Nu wave, I have lost 30 Lbs. 278 to 248. I attribute part of the weight loss to the Nu Wave and the rest to eating healthier foods cooked in the oven. I enjoy fish and chicken quite often and an occasional steak. I like the way a big portion of the fat ends up in the collector tray and NOT me! I use my oven about three times a week. I really appreciate having it in the summer time when using my conventional oven would raise the temperature in my house, which I sure don't need. Made the best chicken caesar salad I've ever had Just got done cooking frozen chicken breasts. Took about 22 minutes because they were extra thick. I had it on the floor under my desk at work to hide it because we aren't allowed to have appliances at our desks, but the smell got me caught :) Everyone was following their noses and came over to see where it was coming from. I have owned it for about 1.5 years..... This is the best product I have ever bought. I use it every day. It's saves me time and my food comes out delicious. I have owned it for about 1.5 years I believe give or take. I rave about it to all my friends. I make the best steaks, pizza, chicken nuggets, reheat left overs. I have saved money because I don't through away left overs. With this oven, I just reheat and the food tastes even better. For a working mother, it saves me time and money. I've been using it almost every day and it does not heat up the kitchen I received my NuWave Analog Oven as a gift for Christmas 2008. The first one came and I was very excited to begin using it. After about 5 weeks of use, I was very disappointed as I realized it had a defective timer mechenism. I called Hearthware and they sent out a replacment top immediately and this one works to perfection. I've been using it almost every day and it does not heat up the kitchen, it is very easy to clean (and I am 75 years old, so it has to be for me); I live alone and I can have the kitchen all cleaned and the oven before I sit down to a perfectly steak (as I let it sit for about 5 minutes to distribute the juices inside). All that's left to clean is my plate when I finish my dinner. So far... I have not fixed anything that was not excellent! What a great product! I love it and thank you HEARTHWARE!!!! First night we had it, I cooked 2 stuffed cornish hens with fresh mixed veggie. My husband and I couldn't get over how fast it cooks, how clean it cooks, how great the food looks, and most of all how great the food taste, better than turning on an oven and heating up the house.. I was so excited about my gift that I made dinner on Mother's Day I received my Nuwave Oven for Mother's Day this year. Immediately I opened and began dinner. For Christmas, I cooked an 18 lb. turkey for the family and it was the juciest I have ever eaten I purchased my NuWave Pro in November 2008. I am handicapped with only one leg, limited mobility and live alone. After playing with my Nuwave a little, I decided to cook dinner for my family for Christmas. ...and the smoke alarm didn't go off from the bacon smoke!!!!!! I am impressed. In less than 1/2 hr. from the arrival of the Nuwave, I had unpacked it, washed it, skimmed through the instructions :), put two eggs and two thick pieces of bacon in it and had breakfast on the table......how cool is that. While we were eating breakfast the rest of the lb. of thick bacon was cooking so we could have the bacon ready for other recipes during the coming week.....and the smoke alarm didn't go off from the bacon smoke!!!!!! After the bacon was done, out came the almonds from the freezer. They roasted while I vaccuumed the floors....This sounds like multi-tasking the fun and healthy way. The NuWave Oven Pro is probably the best kitchen cooking appliance that I have ever owned Hello, I have just posted the following testimonial to the following website, and thought I would tell you about it. The site said that it could take a week or two before my review/defense of your product, gets posted, so I wanted to share it with you now. I received my NuWave Oven Pro on February 21st 2009 as a gift from some friends. They bought it for me after reading my blog about wanting the NuWave Oven Pro to make cooking for myself and my 2 teenage sons easier after I have a 3rd spine fusion surgery this coming June 2009. I have been cooking with it ever since! I have not used my regular oven even once since receiving the NuWave Oven Pro!!! As a matter of fact, I placed a board on top of my regular oven, and that is where my NuWave Oven Pro has been sitting since getting it! It cooks and works exactly as the infomercial states. I LOVE IT!! I read all of the complaints on this website, and I have to say that if you follow the directions for each food item you are cooking, they will come out perfectly every single time. Every meat I have cooked, fresh or frozen, has come out so nicely done with all of it's natural juices intact, not dry as some people have stated. It is a conduction, convection, and infrared oven, so it WILL cook foods much faster than a regular oven, and that is why you must follow the cooking times exactly as the chart says or it will over cook them. Read the directions, follow them!! I have cooked frozen whole chickens perfectly, frozen, skinless chicken breasts perfectly, chicken legs perfectly, steaks and hamburgers perfectly, salmon and several other kinds of fish, all perfectly cooked with all of their natural juices intact. I have made dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, corn on the cob and all different kinds of vegetables, all perfectly cooked in way less time than my regular oven ever could! I have made a whole 12 pound turkey using the extender ring and the 1-inch rack, and it cooked to perfection in under 2 hours! OMG! I LOVE my NuWave Oven Pro! My sons love turkey legs, so I bought 6 huge turkey legs, and cooked them from frozen on the 1-inch rack in just 1 hour. I think the NuWave Oven Pro is an incredible product. The NuWave Oven Pro is probably the best kitchen cooking appliance that I have ever owned, and I've tried many of them. I love my NuWave Oven Pro and use it for every single meal I cook. Clean-up is a snap as everything is coated, and the foods just wipe right off. I can't live without it My son and daughter-in-law gave us one over 4 years ago for Christmas, and I can't live without it. The dome is the only bad part because after so many times of using it the dome starts to get little cracks in the top from the heat. Maybe they could revise the dome someday. But the food in it is delicious, I use it almost every meal in the winter, in the summer we grill out. But I needed to replace mine. We just love it and it is so easy to use. Thank You. We made a good choice in buying the NuWave Oven. I just purchased mine and of course recieved it the other day and we love it. My son who is 12 cooks us dinnner now. He won't use the microwave or the oven now. We also had to buy extra chicken nuggets and fries to try. He loves it and said they taste better in the Nu Wave, so we made a good choice in buying this. Every working family should own one. I received my oven Sat.morning and within 2 hrs. had fixed pizza, monkey bread, and fried fish for my husband. WOW! This oven is awesome. I cleaned a spot on countertop for it; I will not be putting it up for sure. This will make my life as a working wife and mom sooo much easier. I plan on doing a ham this evening for dinner. There is no way I'll ever give it up My husband and I purchased our NuWave Oven recently. Even though it's not one of the digital timer ones, I cannot believe the food that has come out of this little machine! We bought a roast and some different cuts of chicken. The first night, we tried the roast. It didn't turn out quite as good as we would have hoped, but we both feel it was due to the cut of beef that was used. Tonight however, was a totally different story. The chicken was downright juicy and tender. PERFECT in every way! I am on Weight Watchers, and we live in a hotel that has a very small kitchenette, so we bought the NuWave in hopes that I could have different ways of cooking things other than the stove top or microwave. This thing cooks just like the infomercial says it would. I reviewed all the comments from everyone who had purchased the Nu Wave oven and to say I was skeptical was an understatement. After debating with my wife about the purchase of the oven I decided to bite the bullet and make the purchase. I was so excited to see what this thing could do! The first day I received the oven I placed a two inch FROZEN Solid top sirloin steak in the oven just to see what it could do. I was absolutely amazed how well the oven cooked this frozen steak! IT IS THE BEST INVESTMENT WE HAVE MADE! I wanted to share with you that we have had the NuWave Oven for about 6 weeks now and I have not stopped using it. We use to go out to eat at least 4 times a week sometimes more. Now I love that I can get home after work, call my husband and ask him what he wants and I can get it right out of the freezer, season it, put it in the NuWave Oven and forget about it. By the time I have changed my clothes and get back to the kitchen it's done. I have cooked just about every meat from whole chicken, Pork, Steaks, Fish and even crab cakes. Thank you so much for changing our dining habits . . . and letting me discover my "inner Emeril You guys have come up with the most amazing cooking device I've ever seen or used. Since my wife and I purchased ours last year, I've basically become the cook in the family. Burgers, steaks, frozen breaded veal cutlets, boneless, skinless chicken breasts and thighs, Italian sausage links (the big ones!), boneless, marinated spare ribs, tilapia filets, frozen butterfly shrimp - I've done them all. And (yesterday) my first turkey. It was 11 pounds and cooked in 2 hours! I rubbed it with a mixture of chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper beforehand, and it turned out perfect. Everyone just gobbled it up (pun intended!). And nobody believes me when I tell them how fast the NuWave is! But let them try my cooking, and they end up wanting one for themselves! I really cannot stop raving about this to anyone that even pretends to listen! I cannot rave ENOUGH about this product!! We bought ours in hopes that it would make it easier for us to cook nutritious meals at home instead of buying fast food!! We have young children that are picky eaters, are two full time college students, and have a host of schedule demands daily! OMGoodness...this appliance is a LIFE SAVER! We just used it for the first time today. We cooked a whole fryer chicken and I specifically didn't do ANYTHING to it just to see how the Nu Wave oven really worked! I simply took it out of the package, put it in the rack, checked to be sure it was at full power, and turned on the timer. Halfway through I flipped it over. The food is so tender and juicy that BOTH of our kids wanted seconds and thirds! Usually we have to beg and barter to get them to eat X amount...but not tonight!! This will not only let us cook at home more (thus we are eating healthier), it will save us a lot on the food bills as well! We don't have to spend 3.00 or more per lb...we can buy whole fryers at .99/lb instead. We will be able to make so many different foods in a fraction of the time that they would normally take, so saving our time is an invaluable perk to using this appliance! Several friends have placed orders after all my talk about how great this unit really is easy to use, clean and how great the food comes out. What a great gift last Christmas! The wife bought two, one for me and one for our son and his wife in NC. Both of us have just about stopped using our old ovens, plus less use of pots and pans. That means less clean up. I did miss one thing. I didn't like having to remove the top to check internal temps on roasts and hams, so I fixed it. Using the extender ring, I drilled a 1/4" hole in the side, about midway top to bottom. Now I can run a temp probe through the hole and into the roast. I can check the internal temps without ever removing the top. Try it, it works great. Use a good drill bit, 1/4" diameter and go slow. Clean up the edges and you are good to go. I have never liked pork tenderloins cooked in the oven because they come out so dry. My family was highly impressed at how great it tasted and how juicy it was. The NuWave is ideal My husband gave me the NuWave Oven for Christmas. Although normally I may not appreciate an appliance as a gift, this one is a happy exception. We had decided to start eating healthier, and it is just the two of us. This oven is the perfect size for us, and the grease drips away, making the food healthier. One of the best parts is it doesn't heat up the entire kitchen. Why should you heat an entire oven for just a small amount? The NuWave is ideal. What a wonderful, time saving, amazing product! I just want to say,.... My better half and I were hesitant to believe what was presented on TV about the NuWave Oven Pro but decided to try one so we each put in half of the cost. Of course, we got the extended ring as well as the extended warranty. Well, long story short, we were very impressed the first time we used our NuWave in which we cooked four large chicken breasts smothered in yellow, red and orange sweet peppers. We basted the chicken breasts with a mixture of olive oil, black pepper, sage, oregano and roasted garlic. We did not even pre cook the chicken breasts. We cooked it for 35 minutes along with the peppers. Oh my, it came out Sooooooo Goooood we could not believe it, not only was the thick chicken breasts thoroughly cooked but they where tender and moist, with the sweet peppers that were cooked through but not dried out, burned or tough. The meal was just incredible and amazingly easy to make and clean up after. We have been cooking with the NuWave Oven now on a regular basis and although some things require a bit of trial and error the errors have been few and we cannot recommend the NuWave Oven Pro highly enough. We just love it. It has lived up to everything that it was advertised as being able to do and more. What a wonderful, time saving, amazing product! Well, the NuWave Oven sat in the box for nearly 3 months... I love to cook. My husband bought the NuWave Oven for me this Christmas. I told him to return it because it was too big and looked like a pain to use. Well, it sat in the box for nearly 3 months and finally, I opened it. Holy cow! I “roasted” a chicken in it tonight and it was the best chicken ever! Even my oldest son, the picky eater of the family, gobbled it down. It was MUCH easier to clean than my roasting pan, used less energy and was so juicy I couldn’t believe it, not to mention it cooked in nearly ½ the time it would take in a conventional oven. I bought the NuWave Oven, and thought to myself, oh no, I've done it again, wasted alot of money... Oh my goodness. I buy things from the TV ALL the time, and I feel like I'm always getting scammed. I bought the NuWave Oven, and thought to myself, oh no, I've done it again, wasted alot of money this time on something that is not going to work. BUT, I am VERY happy with my decision to buy this. My only good buy from TV, and IT IS WORTH IT. I tried the frozen chicken first...right out of the freezer. 13 minutes each side. And this chicken turned out SOOOOO unbelievably good! Then I wanted to put it to the TRUE test. I cooked a pork tenderloin just like on the television. And it was just amazing! 40 minutes each side for a 3 pounder. It was cooked to perfection! I told my family back home, and they hope that you make it for overseas,,,,, But with this new administration, I dont know if it is feasable. I love this Oven , my gosh ! We are retired, and at times , as we get carried away with our Ranch ,I keep forgeting to take some meat out of the freezer for dinner. Now I do not take the meat out of the freezer as I found out that the meat is much juicier and tender as I cook it frozen ! I also cooked a whole chicken that was frozen, and of course after a few minutes, I removed the chicken and took the guts out and put on my ingredients and put the chicken back in the oven... it came out better then any roasted chicken I ever ate... tender, and I do not like the white meat,, well now I love it! It is so tender, it melts in your mouth.... I was never the person who would cook... I told my husband I bought the NuWave. He's like, why? When it got here, I made a whole chicken with potatoes. While I was making it, my husband said that it smelled good and he said he'll eat with me. He was a little disappointed that the juice was dripping because he said he liked the fat. When the food was done, he came to eat. He could not believe that the chicken was so juicy and so good. Even my kids loved it. I was never the person who would cook. I didn't like cooking. Never did cook a whole chicken ever before. When I cooked the chicken, I didn't even read all the instructions and it still came out great. I think I'll be using this every day. I have the predecessor, FlavorWave. I love it. I did accidentally change the power one time and found it tricky to restore it to HI, but it always works, although maybe adding 1/2 hour to the time. His turkey was only at 110 degrees, so he must have done something wrong. Besides, I'm sure the NuWave works even better than my old FlavorWave. I wrote him the following email in your defense: Dear Jesse, I'm sorry, but you must have made some kind of mistake with the NuWave Oven. I have a FlavorWave Oven, which is the older model. It works very well all the time. The instructions on it shows 15 minutes per pound. That means 150 minutes for 10 pounds, or 2 1/2 hours. I admit that I have added 1/2 hour to the time for roasts. I know it would work on the FlavorWave. I haven't actually done it with a Turkey, but I use the FlavorWave almost daily for steaks and have used it for roasts. I am absolutely sure that the NuWave will work as advertised. One thing that can happen is that you don't get it started again after turning the turkey. The other thing that happens is the timer doesn't get reset correctly. I've had my FlavorWave for many years and don't want to see the NuWave maligned in this manner. I put this Nu Wave to the task. I used it for 30 consecutive days... I would just like to tell you that this is the greatest ! I am a gadget person. I am always looking for something better. I had them all. My major claim to fame is "cleaning up" I put this Nu Wave to the task. I used it for 30 consecutive days. The clean up is fabulous. The grate was my concern. Not be concerned about at all. Just put your left over dish detergent in the bottom oven pan and let soak. In no time go back and wipe clean... My husband is a diabetic and this is perfect for taking out all the ugly FAT. The food is so moist and delicious. I cannot say enough about this unit. The time it saves on frozen food is tremendous I have a NuWave Oven and am quite satisfied with it. The time it saves on frozen food is tremendous. I am single and if someone announces that they are coming over for dinner all I have to do is grab something from the freezer no matter whether it is hamburger or fish. It was better than our local BBQ restuarant I purchased my Nuwave oven about 6 weeks ago, and I love it. My son got married last Saturday, and I made 2 roasts seperately to use for BBQ and used the oven for around 6 hours. The BBQ turned out great. Comments were that it was better than our local BBQ restuarant that smokes their own. In the process of using the Nuwave that long, the grease from the pork stained the transparent dome. I would like to know if I can buy another dome seperately and if so, the price to purchase it? The best things are no preheating, no noise, no heating up the house, it's quick and it is delicious... I have never been happier in the kitchen..........I have never been happier cooking for neighbors, family and friends.......This is the biggest break through in cooking since the wood stove! I love my "nu-wave" and experiment with something new almost daily.......My husband is in the nursing home now and I really wish now that I had had this when he was still at home, as he loves my cooking and he loves to eat! I was ready to pack it all up and ship it back, but I thought ... Hello, my name is Lynn, and I received my Nuwave oven today. I have never ordered anything over the television before, and I was a little skeptical. Even though I live in Florida, I come from New York, and I rarely trust anyone. I set up the oven right away, so I could try it. I had a small frozen piece of salmon and I placed it in the oven. At first I had it on 5 hours (because I didn't read all the directions) and I thought it took forever, and it didn't taste that good. I was ready to pack it all up and ship it back, but I thought let me watch the video and see if I did something wrong. I did, so I decided to cook my dinner in the Nuwave oven. It was a sirloin steak and a potato. I put in the potato in first because it would take an hour, and I thought well I can do that in my toaster oven in the same amount of time, but I put it in the Nuwave oven for 42 minutes and then added the frozen sirlon for the remainder, 18 minutes. I have to tell you I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The potato tasted like one from an upscale restaurant, and the steak was unbelievable. I live in a condo, and I can't grill on my balacony, but this was like I did. I could go on but I just want to say Thank You, I LOVE my Nuwave oven, and I will tell all my friends about it. Knowing I can cook in less time and reduce cholesterol too is too good to be true I just purchased the Nu Wave Oven and received it on Monday, February 2, 2009. I have used it three times, and I have to tell you it is the greatest addition to my small appliances. I was completely amazed at how well our steaks turned out Monday night. My son, who happens to be a picky eater, loved the steaks. I can't wait until my next shopping order to be able to purchase more food to use in this oven. I have never seen hamburger cook so well before. I own a griddle, but I think I will just use that for pancakes now. Knowing I can cook bacon, sausage, steak, turkey, even a whole chicken in less time than it would normally take me and reduce the cholesterol too is too good to be true. I used it for the first time today, and I wouldn't part with it. I have always had problems cooking meat. I either get it too done or not done enough. I cooked two pork chops this morning with the intention of saving one for my husband. They were so delicious I ate them both! Then I put a frozen 8 pound turkey breast in for two hours. It looked like a picture in one of my cookbooks. Beautifully browned. I thought how can it be moist as browned as it is. It was the juciest turkey breast I have ever cooked. I watched your advertisement on TV and thought, yea right it can't be that good, this is just a advertising pitch. But My wife passed away 5 years ago and I have a handy-cap daughter that lives with me. My other two daughters do most all the cooking for us, and I thought maybe this would help them to save a little more time for their life, as they both work all day. Well, it has done just that. They can call and say Daddy, get this or that out of the freezer and put it in the Nuwave and when they get here it is almost done. Everything that we have cooked in it so far has been wonderful. Now, the reason I am writing to you is!!! We are all telling people that we know about the Nuwave and they look at us like we were nut's so if I could get some advertisement literature, (say just one sheet) telling a little about it, we can sell a bunch more of these things for you and make life easer for a bunch of our friends. Maybe this is a crazy idea but when we try to describe ours and talk about the plastic, I think that word turns them off, I know, when I told my girls about ordering one, the minute I said plastic they turned their nose up. and even when they first saw it, they didn't think too much of it until they used it. It's the best appliance we have ever owned Just wanted to tell you that we have had our nuwave oven now for 3 years. We use it a minimum of 4 to 5 times a week. It still works great. Our dome has discolored but that's about all. We haven't even used it for all the things it can do. It's the best appliance we have ever owned. I am always amazed at what this oven can do I don't ever buy anything from TV but on this oven, I made an exception 2 yrs ago and was I ever glad. Last night, I cooked five 2 1/2" thick chicken breasts (frozen) in 28 mins (14 mins per side) and they stayed plump and thick and were so moist you'd swear a restaurant chef made them. I am always amazed at what this oven can do. I urge everyone to get one, especially now when money is tight - you can save money by not using the regular oven and save time. I use this oven everyday! I thought this would turn out to be like so many other things I have tried, stored in the basement never to see the light of day. Wrong! I use this oven everyday! I have made breakfast, lunch and dinner in it and have been more than happy everytime. No pre-heating and cooks in less time than a conventional oven. What more could you ask? I just love the way the Fat just falls off in the drip pan Hi; I purchased my NuWave Oven for Christmas. After Cleaning it, I tried cooking a Frozen Leg of Lamb with this Oven. I went by the cooking times that came with the device, and I was very impressed. The meat came out just as I wanted it to. Moist, and delicious. It took only 1 hour and a half; and it started frozen hard as a Brick. Then later I tried to cook a chicken, which out did my Microwave because the NuWave allowed the chicken to Brown just as pretty as you would expect. The chicken was not frozen so it did not take long for it to cook all the way through. Even the white meat was moist. Now that I have this new Device, I will be using it more, because I can prepare meals faster and with easier clean up. And I just love the way the Fat just falls off in the drip pan. It seems to collect more fat than my Rotisserie does. Just stick to the instructions that come with the NuWave and you will be Happy with it, I'm sure. Wade - USA,   January 10, 2009
I was blown away at the way this works. I just wanted to let you all know that I received my NU WAVE today and was blown away at the way this works. I was so excited about getting this product that I called and had the DR see me during lunch because I didn't want anyone to drive by and see a box sitting outside my door. I really didn't have a lot in the freezer to try but I did find some shrimp and tried the Shrimp Saute and it was so good. You could taste the flavor of the wine and garlic. I was really very please with my results. I even did chocolate chip cookies. I am going shopping this weekend and now I have to figure out what to buy to try next. This will be used a lot and already told husband that it is staying on counter and he is not allowed to use because I am afraid he will drop it. I am going to do bacon in the morning as I am getting ready for work. I think the meals are endless, you just have to put your mind in the what's next mode and just try and see what happens. My father recently ordered a Nu-Wave and had me test it... My father recently ordered a Nu-Wave and had me test it out for him. I cooked a 3-lb pork roast with potatoes in a little over an hour at his house. The roast browned nicely and was very moist and tender, potatoes perfectly done. I took it home and have been cooking many different items including shrimp and beef. It performs just as advertised and like the cooking process, cleanup is very quick and easy. Usually if it looks too good to be true... My wife bought me a New Wave oven Pro with extender ring after seeing it at a friend's house. I was skeptical of its cooking ability due to its size. Usually if it looks too good to be true, it isn't. I was overwhelmed when it cooked an 8 pound ham on new year's day in just under 35 minutes on high, and it was dripping juices not dry as leather. Im so happy with it I ordered one for my son and had it shipped to him. He loved this one but the store was out by the time we went back last week. Thanks Nu Wave for a great product. Upon purchase of the NuWave Oven, my expectations were low... Upon purchase of the NuWave Oven, my expectations were low. Actually I expected to taken but this Item turned out to be one of the best things I ever bought. It's a very impressive oven. The NuWave oven is a product worthy of recommendation, and it definitely gets my vote! A couple of years ago, my husband laughed at me when I bought yet another infomercial product. Somehow, I knew with this one, that I would have the last laugh! Now, I gloat every time he asks for fried chicken made in the NuWave. In fact, just last night as we happily dined on my NuWave Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thighs. He said, "you know, I'm really glad you bought that!" I am too! After numerous experiments, I've decided that chicken thighs work best since they are fatty and will fry up nice and crisp in their own fat. The chicken looks just like fried chicken and tastes just like fried chicken. The only difference is the amount of calories saved. I enjoy using the NuWave and have used it with excellent results to cook all types of meat, poutry, and fish. The NuWave oven is a product worthy of recommendation, and it definitely gets my vote!
